How to Choose the Right Minecraft Server Plan in Australia

Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond - a plain-English breakdown of which Evolvify plan suits your player count, plugin stack, and budget.

Choosing the wrong plan is the most common first mistake new server owners make. Too little RAM and the server lags. Too much and you are paying for headroom you do not need. Here is how to cut through it.

Stone (2 GB RAM - AUD $10/mo): Best for vanilla groups of 1-5 friends with no plugins. Clean, cheap, and stable for a small private world.

Iron (4 GB RAM - AUD $20/mo): The safest default. Handles vanilla with 10-15 players, a handful of plugins (EssentialsX, a permissions plugin, maybe a few QoL mods), and steady daily activity.

Gold (6 GB RAM - AUD $30/mo): Better for modpacks under 100 mods, heavier plugin stacks, or servers growing past 20 active players.

Diamond (8 GB RAM - AUD $40/mo): For Forge or Fabric modpacks with 100-200 mods, larger communities, or servers running resource-heavy plugins like Dynmap.

Network / Custom: When you need a proxy-backed multi-server network, custom CPU allocation, or a setup that goes beyond a single node - reach out via Discord and the team will scope it.

If you are unsure, start on Iron. It is easier to upgrade than to manage a lagging server while players are online.
